User Registration

In this section the following details needs to be considered:

State Selection

The services shall be provided only in those States as mentioned in the Program Agreement. Accordingly, during the registration process, the user shall be required to select the State of their residence. In adherence with the Compliance requirements of the Program, SMP shall be responsible to ensure that all relevant logos, partner-specific and State-specific Disclaimers are visible to the user during the process of registration starting from the signup page (Please refer to our White-Label Integration Guide).

The user’s IP address during the registration process is cross-referenced to check if the IP address originates from the State being selected by user in the signup process. If the IP address is identified to be outside of the States which are supported by the Program, the transaction created by user shall be put on HOLD for further review.

User Signup

To sign up, a user must enter the following details:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Password

Requirements regarding email address

The user shall be required to enter a valid email address for the purpose of registration in the service. SMP is required to verify the email address provided by the user. The same email address cannot be used to create multiple user accounts.

Password Requirements

We recommend that the password created by a user should have minimum of eight (8) characters of which one (1) character should be a special character and one (1) UPPERCASE character.

Requirements regarding phone number

The SMP shall be required to verify the phone number provided by the user.
